The Warrior baseball team rode a hot first inning at the plate and some solid defensive to a big win over Ravenna, The win extends the WMC winning streak to 7 games.

Leading hitters for WMC - Nick Moser, Tyler VanBeek, Jamo Goorman all had two hits each.  Brant Zeerip scored 2 runs.

Coach Chris VanHekken:

Jaxon did a great job on the mound today, limiting Ravenna to a few hits.  Kamps came in and threw well, as did Nathan VanderWeide who recorded the final out.  We came out really strong offensively in the 1st inning, putting up 6 runs.  We hit the ball hard all day, which was a great sign as we are going to be entering league play next week.  Defensively, Cam Beisel, VanBeek, Zeerip and Jake Moser are playing at a very high level.  Our outfield with Nick Moser, Goorman and Casey Fink are playing very tough and working together really well.  We are looking forward to a very tough opponent in Orchard View on Friday at Marsh Field.
