Warriors Drop Opening GMAA Game to Ravenna
Leading hitters for WMC - Jamo Goorman, Nathan VanderWeide, Jake Moser & Brant Zeerip all had a hit.
COACH CHRIS VANHEKKEN: We really struggled today to hit with runners in scoring position. We struggled against Ludington earlier this week as well with situational hitting and today it cost us another game.
We had bases loaded with no outs once and another time we had guys on with no outs and we can't put the ball in play. The guys are playing really well on defense and they are working hard, we just can't seem to get that hit to get us going.
We still have a lot of baseball left this season and I am confident we will get back on track. The loss moves our record to 8-5.
