Warriors Sweep Saturday Double Header vs. Potters House

The Warriors continued their winning ways on Saturday with a sweep of the Pumas 15-0 and 20-2.  In the first game, the Warriors combined for 14 hits with Caleb McKay (Fr.) leading the team with three hits, two of them triples.  Sam Liggett (Sr.) had two hits, with one a 3-run homerun, the first ever on the new Warrior Field.  Sam Sipe (Jr.) and Samuel VanOrman (Sr.) had two hits each.  Sipe notched his second win of the season allowing just one hit, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts.

In the second game, Hogan Harmon (Sr.) and McKay led the team with two hits each.  Harmon, VanOrman, and Alex Wagonmaker (Fr.) each had a triple.  Wagonmaker notched his second win of the year allowing 4 hits, 2 walks, while striking out 5.

Coach Hill- "With Prom being the night before, I was worried about there being a bit of a let down.  But the guys came to play today.  I'm happy that we are getting production from everyone on the team and that the guys really support each other.  We finally had a beautiful day for baseball and it was great to have a crowd there to support us."
